Signing up to use the Equipment Library is fast and easy. Visit our location during regular hours, bring along the correct forms of identification, and we'll get you enrolled. You'll need to sign a copy of our Waiver and Borrower's Agreement, but once your paperwork is filed and your identification verified, you can start checking out equipment immediately!

Required Forms of Valid ID
• A current, up-to-date State ID, such as a Driver's License, with your correct address.
• A piece of mail proving residency at your current address.

We use the same criteria to verify residency as the Wisconsin Elections Commission. You can find their guidelines here.

Your membership starts on the day you enroll, and expires in one year, at which time users must renew their membership, whether or not they are a donating member.

Suggested Donation

Use of the Equipment Library's resources is always free, to everyone and anyone, regardless of income. However, we do have overhead and operating expenses to consider, so we offer a scale of suggested donations, depending on what individual users can afford.

If you foresee yourself taking advantage of the Equipment Library's resources frequently, you may consider becoming a lifetime member for a one-time donation of $400. Not only will you gain access to the Equipment Library's full catalogue of equipment and tools forever, you'll be helping us purchase more equipment for you to borrow. It's a win win!
